Because bonfires are in center of the Lag B'Omer celebrations, some teens tend to light fires on their own. It is imperative that parents and guardians warn the youth that these fires are dangerous and illegal. At the same time OJPAC extends a special thanks to the emergency service agencies for providing the permits, supervision and the traffic accommodations for the bonfires done according to safty code.
